Since that bike at Snelling and Summit is over a year old, I suspect it was removed by Ghostbike MPLS and not the City, but I do not know for sure.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2184428976951755087.post-47556564368715299282011-06-06T15:32:03.392-05:002011-06-06T15:32:03.392-05:00Does anyone know what happened to the ghost bike t...Does anyone know what happened to the ghost bike that was on Summit at Snelling? I noticed it was gone earlier this spring, but haven't had any luck finding out why it was removed.Janne F.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2184428976951755087.post-15944428733716443422011-05-25T20:04:47.913-05:002011-05-25T20:04:47.913-05:00It sounds like Dennis Dumm's family will be ta...It sounds like Dennis Dumm's family will be taking this bicycle in the next couple of weeks. Besides what the neighbors think, I've heard of a few taken down by family request, as they didn't want the reminder of what had happened.

There was a case over the winter where here in Portland someone actually stole a ghost bike for riding purposes. Besides all the obvious reasons why that's bad, most ghost bikes are unrideable. An adventure!https://www.blogger.com/profile/11840448827760637569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2184428976951755087.post-55698747077820345972011-05-19T21:08:43.426-05:002011-05-19T21:08:43.426-05:00Agreed, I want it to stay there as a reminder. That's why I am helping to maintain it, but this needs more than I can do.Snak Shakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04096046603568003654noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2184428976951755087.post-840397367167928752011-05-19T21:04:45.192-05:002011-05-19T21:04:45.192-05:00I ride past that every time I ride to work.
